17x9 rims on a type r??

Default 17x9 rims on a type r??

so i have a chance to get a set of used rims that i really want but they are 17x9 andd 22 offset


what do you think

why 17x9? why not go for 18x12 if you wanna be that ambitious.

I think you'll need to get out the Sawzall and start hacking the fenders up if you ever dream of fitting those wheels on an ITR.

If you want 17's, get some 17x7 and put 205/40-17 tires on them. That's the right tire size for an ITR with 17" wheels, but you can't mount them on 17x9 wheels.
