Default OBD2A civic harness doesnt work in 99 EX?!

i had to replace my 99 EX harness soo i bought a 98 EX harness................

i went about installing it and it looks like its a one piece harness. i have a leftover plug from my fuse box and some other plugs that dont work as well. someone tell me if this is going to work at all...................

Aside from the engine/chassis harness plug differences, OBD-IIB has some additional sensors and is a little more sensitive to changes compared to OBD-IIA.
