I'm pretty sure the dcrh is legit, everyone that has one seems to have no complaints. everyone that doesn't have one seems to have complaints. IT boggles my mind

No doubt, but it's always nice to have options.

Someone posted a few days ago that they pushed the release back b/c they only got a 1-2 HP gain. They were shooting for at least 6-7 HP gain.

That person could have been wrong though.

What is a good gain from a header anyways? I dont want to void my warranty with a race header (or am i wrong with that assumption) but what are good gains from each? short and race?

I'm with king bob on this one. If you dont have to worry about emissions in your state or you dont care about them anyway I would recommend getting a DCRH. I know comptech is quality. And I understand were all the people who are waiting on a different header to hit the market are coming from. (dont want to buy something that might be crap). I personally have the DCRH. Had it on for about 4 or 5 months now and I haven't had any problems with it what so ever.

Whats sup dude, I just was curious- Ive heard adding race header makes the engine run too lean. Have you had any problems with this at all? Im just trying to learn as much as possible for down the road. What about adding a fuel regulator or anything like that?

You will get a check engine light because your getting rid of the Cat. there is a DIY to rig up the o2 sensor so you wont get the CEL. (somewhere around here. I think the original was on a different site, K-Series or one of those other forums.) It's like a 3 dollar fix. Car runs great with the DCRH. you can tell the mid range has a lot more torque.
