IF I WAS TO INSTALL ONE ENGINE UPGRADE FOR THE MOST POWER, THE MOST REASONABLE PRICE. WHAT SHOULD I GET FOR THIS CAR. THE CAR IS A 2001 CIVIC LX WITHOUT VTEC AND I NEED TO GET HAVE JUST A LITTLE MORE POWER.

Yes and if you buy a Cold air intake, I will buy your stock air intake from you if you are interested in selling it.
I have an aftermarket air intake right now that works just fine but I would like to go back to stock so I can trade my car in possibly.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WILL GET ABOUT 10 HP. I WANT TO SPEND LESS THEN 300 DOLLARS AND GET THE MOST RELABLE HP POSSIBLE. NITROUS FOR EXAMPLE IS A LOT OF EFFORT FOR A DAILY DRIVER.

1) Turn off caps its annoying
2) There is NO upgrade that will give u 10 hp, d17's are NOT made for power. U might be able to get 7-8 whp from an i/h/e, but that will cost around $1000
3) You will still barely notice the power gain, its better off you save and go k20 or turbo, or keep ur engine stock for daily driving.

You would probly need an ecu too, but a <U>complete</U> head swap is the main thing.

you can do it with the head+VAFC2 , although its still gunna be a crappy engine. D17a2 arent that much faster than a d17a1. its wat 115hp vs 127 hp. but for the $$, probably the best bang for buck u can buy.
