cold air intake instal???
hey everyone i got a AEM cold air intake for my 1996 honda civic dx, and i was wondering if i put the intake in on a stock engine with no upgrades or mods will it ruin my engine or anything like that? or will it still be ok? cause my friend at school keeps saying i need to get a new muffler pipe first and i think hes full of crap cause he doesnt really know about cars i think. anyways can u tell me if it will ruin my engine or not, thx

No you dont need to add an exhaust muffler for you to be able to put ur AEM intake... u can just have ur intake on ur car and it'll be fine it'll just suck in more air than it did w/ the stock intake... And no it wont ruin the engine it just helps it take in more air

This is a stupid question Ask your friend for specifics and proof on how installing just a intake will ruin your engine.
Install that sucker and proove your misinformed friend wrong. It wont hurt your engine.

Not enough money for a swap yet? Sue your English teacher.
I bolded out where you have sentence fragments and spelling errors.

Oh my. Well, we all know what the correct answer is and shouldn't need any proving it but just for ***** and giggles, the first mod I did to my SI was a CAI and I ran with just that and stock exhaust for a while with no problems.
