Default dc sports headers

i am looking to buy stainless steel headers for my 02 civic....i have heard that dc sports are really good but im am broke...i have searched and searched and cant find them any cheaper than $285...if you know where to get them for less please help me out...

i am also looking to put an exhaust on my car but cant decide which to get...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

P.S. i dont want to sound like a fart when i am idle or accelerating

DC Sports might have good products, but even with a complete exhaust system, you're not going to see more than 5whp. If you ask me, don't waste your money on stuff like that, if you're building on a budget.

few exhausts sound like a fart can. even with just a muffler upgrade from a brand name company you'll get a good sound, just not as much performance. since your on a budget, just get a muffler, it'll sound fine. when you get the money, upgrade the tubing as well. once you get the muffler and piping done, you've basically purchased a full catback piece by piece w/ the same performance

DC header's are an expensive waste of $$. If u MUST get a header, get a cheaper and just as uneffective Megan header.
