HELP!!! PASSENGER DOOR WON'T LOCK!!!
My friend's 00 Civic won't lock on the passenger side. We took off the door panel and everything is intact. Whether we manually lock it from the inside or outside or alarm, the door just won't lock.

What do you mean, "everything is intact"? It should work if everything is intact. You need to look more closely, man. Look at where the rods hook into the latch at the end of the door. Maybe one of those plastic tabs popped loose or broke. Is it an aftermarket remote keyless system? Make sure that the lock rod travels the appropriate distance when locking and unlocking due to the movement of the electronically activated piston thingy. I've had to adjust mine before with an allen head screw.

Intact meaning nothing is loose or disconnected. I'll check it out again and see if what you're talking about needs to be tightened or greased.
