Default headlight problem


got these from robearracing.com

you think they will send me another one
if not..
how did all you guys paint the housing.........i could just pop off the lense and reseal it right?

but how did you guys go about the headlight disassembly?

haha forgot to get pics ......its raining out now so ill get some pics later but basically there is moisture inside the headlight

Well, some people use those Silica packets that you find in beef jerky to keep their housings moisture free, but it's always a good idea to seal them properly first. It's not hard to pop the lens off and reseal it, though.

my friend w/ a WRX said he put his head light in his oven?? to break them open??

can i use a heat gun?

You can use a heatgun, if you like. I used the oven, as well. 185 degrees for 5minutes is all you need.

I use high heat silicone, that's clear. You'll need silicone, because caulk won't be great for the moisture barrier.
