is there anyway to clean the inside of the engine bay without removing the motor? like if i preasure wash it will it mess anything up?

the best way that i presssure wash my engine and bay is to do it when the engine is cold
and statrt it right away so it doesnt turn off when washing but do it quick before it warms up so it doesnt warp anything

 

I've never actually pressure washed my motor, but whatever.

I give everything a nice coating of simple green, let it sit and hose it down.

I do take care to cover the dizzy though. I've done this with 4 cars and I've never had a problem.

 

dont use a power washer......water will get in the dizzy or somewhere it shouldn't and your gonna encounter problems.

 

so just use some simple green and let it sit then hose it off and cover the dizzy?

 

use a brush too

yeah. that works.. i use simple green also on my motor.. and bay! works great!!!
