Default What is this?

im in the middle of removing my sound proof. I used dry ice to do it...works right just that it froze a lil to much and broke what is circled in the pic...

What do those circles things do? is it important or can i weld over that and bondo it down?

Tough to see in the pic, plus I'm not too familiar with the metal under the seats on an EK, but aren't those the drain plugs?

They look like little rubber/plasic plugs. I don't think they're designed to be removed, so I'm sure if you took them out and welded over them you'd be fine.

they are plastic drain plugs, i stripped my EG interior and sprayed it out with cleaner and a hose... then poked lil holes in these plugs to drain. they are just to seal from the outside. why they were ever put there is beyond me. get new plugs, or patch weld them and bondo

They were put there, as well as the spare tire well, to drain water in case of flooding. Most cars have them.
