Burning Oil

I have white smoke coming out my exhaust. I think the rings are shot, its a 94 CX with 225k on the clock. Is there anyway i can figure out for sure what is bad?

leak down test most shops will do one for you for about 50 bucks and youll be able to tell what kinda smoke is it black white blue ?

whats ur gas mileage like and r u putting in like a quart every 500 miles?

gas milage sucks, and i put one in about every 2 weeks or so. the head gasket is also leaking but the smoke is white.

could be valve seals as well. those tend to go before the rings do.

Im hoping it is the valve seals becayse i want to do a mini me swap and i don't want to do it if the rings are wasted.

mine also goes thru oil gas mileage around 30ish
