PLEASE HELP VERY SERIOUS INPUT NEEDED!!!!
Ok all please help me if you can with ideas...possible solutions etc etc etc...to make a long story short...my car flipped over sideways and well now it doesnt seem to want to turn...dont think its the engine...openned it up and nothing seems bent and or broken....My idea is that it may be electrical...reason why is...whenever I go to crank the engine everything shuts of..
...When the car is in acessory everything works fine...radio,lights,etc etc...but like I said once I turn the key to crank the engine everything shuts off? Any ideas? Im not guru so thats why Im here and I apologize in advance if its the wrong forum but the car is a 1995 EJ1 coupe..thanks!

check your grounds again, one might be broken in the sheathing (sp?) and you cant see it.
happened to someone else just recently, drove him nuts for about 2 weeks. tried 2 starters
after you have cleared that then go on to some other things.
your problem sounds like a ground

Well I got the car running but it sounds like one of my pistons is loose because its knocking badly...anyway anyone have a cheap ol D15B7 for sale or something comperable in so. cal....?
I'm having the same exact problem in my EK hatch. Swapped a b18 ls engine in, and everythings been fine on it for almost 2 months now. no problems of it never starting. Now all of a sudden, fuel pump will not prime, and nothing when i turn the key from acc. to start.....i can hit the shifter, and hit the dash, and the main relay will start clicking weird, and the fuel pump will prime....but still, when i turn the key to start, it all shuts off again.....it's getting really tired and annoying. If anyone can help with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've checked grounds, and everythings a-ok.

Does everything comes back on when key placed on position 2? It sounds like you do not have enough juice to power everything once starter is engaged or have a short somewhere in which case a fuse will blow.
If no fuse is blown, then you have a lot of stuff to check. Starter get its power via starter relay and clutch interlock switch(shifter has to be in neutral, park or clutch depressed). you should here the relay click at least on key position 3. starter cutout relay should be on the left side of the hood, remove and power it up on pins c and d then use a multimeter to check continuity on pins a and b (to be sure check continuity on pins a and b first to verify that this is the coil your are about to power up).
if this checks out ok, check the starter cutout relay by the clutch pedal and check for continuity, next is your starter . Before going deep into troubleshooting check out your battery connection. Clean posts and tighten. Also check the engine ground cable by the A/C fan for tightness. Ensure all fuses are good.
I believe your starter is shut and its taking to much juice from your system.
Another thing that concerns me is that you main relay is cycling meaning your relay is going bad (solder problems) or the ECU is not giving enough juice to power it which also comes from the start circuit position 2 and 3. GOOD LUCK hope this helps.

I've tried a different main relay, wires and solder seem to be in the plug fine. I can also tug on the wiring harness near the clutch pedal and same effect with it powering up, and fuel pump priming, but still no start and everything shuts back off when I try to start it. Every now and then, I can get the starter to start cranking over, but it will not start....I really don't want to, but actually thinking about just trailer'ing it to the honda dealer and having them fix it, which will prolly cost much more than what I'm wanting to spend on fixing it, but I'm about all out of options. I've checked battery terminals, i have a brand new optima red top battery on it, and it's putting out plennty of juice, all connections to the starter are fine, i've even added an extra ground to it. all other grounds have good connection. don't see why the alternator would keep the car from starting, but going to check it too.
also, i have an obd2 gsr ecu that i hooked up, and still same problem. i'm going to try my skunk2 obd1 ecu with obd2-obd1 jumper harness today, and check the starter cutout relay, and the starter itself, and reassure my grounds
Have you fixed this yet? If not do you need schematics for this? You know that you could pull your starter and bench test it using your car battery or you could go to some shops that would do this for free.
