Leaky axle seals
I just replaced my clutch and while removing the axles, i torn the driver side. I went to the dealer and got a new one. Put it on. Now it leaks, and so does the passenger one, which did not leak before. The passenger axle was taken out straight and didnt damage the seal.
I am using GM syncromesh, which is synthetic i think? Could that cause it to leak because the molecules are smaller or something? Im kinda bummed out because this is liquid gold and it costs so damn much....I dont want it to leak!
What do you guys think it is? Is it normal for some leaking to occur at first or what?

Starting with the obvious but sometimes overlooked, did you make sure the dealer gave you a new seal with the new axle? Also, when you drained the fluid to replace the axles, did you properly torque the bolt back in... or overtighten it?... or did you re-use a crush washer (which you cannot do)?
crush washer is new.....seal was identical to the one i had on there before (put them side by side to ensure)
Thanks for the help i'll go make sure the seal is seated properly i guess....no idea why the passenger side is leaking tho.
