well i was at the carlisle show this weekend and decided to dyno my car for the hell of it.....heres my following engine mods:

Comptech short ram air intake
Comptech 4-2-1 headers
Comptech hi-flow cat
Comptech cat back exhaust
Apex'i V-AFC
AEM feul rail
AEM feul regulator


and my best dyno run was 167.6 whp and 122.6 torque....the dyno tech said i was running pretty lean...i can give the numbers of my air/fuel from the chart.....so what do you think about this number....i think its pretty damn low...does the weather have an effect on the numbers and do the size of the rims affect the WHP...thanks

P.S. - that best run my vtec i lowered to 5100 rpms, and the fuel rail and regulator arent really tunned, what would be the best PSI to run my fuel pressure at?

 

How much was that dyno, out of curiosity?

 

$75 for three runs...not bad at all...and they did an extra one for me for an extra $5...the tech wanted to mess with the v-afc some more ....were you at the show?

 

Can you post the chart? Sounds a tad low for those mods, but you ARE untuned.

Yep, unfortunately, I was there on Saturday

 

yeah saturday was terrible trying to leave...did you have your car in the show....i was in the back with the integra's...took my 5 hours to get out...got in my car at 5:10 didnt get out of the fair grounds till 10:10...5 hours to get out it sucked....did you get to see the integra's.....i was in the 98+ wild class...i was the black integra type r with the jdm conversion, cf hood, red corbeau's, in dash flip out tv, ps2, ect ect.?

My car wasnt in the show...not a show kind of dude...the whole point is to have no one look at my car, not everyone

It completely sucked...I wasnt impressed with the show, the vendors, OR the parking situation...what a pain in the *** that was. Sat in 2hrs of traffic to get from the Carlisle exit to the fairgrounds, then another 1hr+ to get out of the PARKING LOT!

That was my last show I think...sticking to the strip from now on...

 

Who's dyno was it? Do you remember the name of the company that brought it?

 

yeah i wasnt too impressed either with the cars or the vendors, but it was a good time except for the extreme traffic problems..... i dont know im into shows, i just find it fun, i go with friends and we get drunk and have a good time. do you remember seeing my car at all?

and the company that had the dyno was WinPep...thats what it says on my chart atleast

 

I saw a ton of JDM converted R's...I dont remember the seats. Your car might have been closed at the time?

The only Integra section that I browsed through (maybe more than one) had an Orange integra, a JDM ITR with the destroyed pistons/valves sitting next to it, a black turbo R next to a PY R...were you around that area?

 

yeah i know where your talking about...i was in the integra's above the ones you saw....here a pic of mine...it may have been closed up i closed it up at 4 p.m.

Give the man a break... not everybody has to make their car a 100% race car. Look at the bright side, one less R that looks like yours.

 

omg was it a horrible drive there. we were driving in the shoulder for a couple miles it was sick .

 

that seems really low for your mods maybe the dyno was off.?
