wheel bearing?
ok heres the problem....for some odd reason im hearing this noise on my driver side when i let go the throttle....sounds like the wheel is shaking and i hear this thumping sound...the weird this is that it only happens when i let go throttle or on the throlttle slightly any ideas.???? maybe the wheel bearings im thinking
Try tightening your lug nuts as stupid as that sounds. Could be your wheel bearing if your lug nuts are not loose. I have a new set of HOP bearings waiting to go on my car
edit: could also be a warped rotor. Could be a million things lol

does the car pull a little when up get on it and then drift a little when you let off the gas? If so I would check your front control arm bushings.

yea something close to that....i checked the bushings and it seems to be fine..i get a squeaking noise also when i let off the gas...but when i get back on it the squeaking and clunking noise goes away

Also, don't rule out an axle problem! </TD></TR></TABLE>
how do i inspect to see if the bearing is loose?...ive inspected nearly everthing and nothing seems loose....any other inputs??

get the wheel in the air and pull/push on it. there shouldn't be any play. If there is, it's most likely a ball joint or a tie rod end. If there's no play there, but you can still feel some play look closely at your hub area and determine if that's your loose spot. Also turn the wheel to make sure it spins freely.
did the lug nuts...still the same problem..took off the tire and played around with it an no kind of movement..can it be the axle?...the odd thing is that it only happens when i let go throttle or let of slightly...any more suggestions?..
Is the axle tight? Check that it's tight in both the transmission (clicked all the way in) at the wheelhub (torqued down properly)
I've had problems similiar to this and turns out I had bought a bad refurbished axle from a local auto parts store.
