civic to gsr swap please help!

Default civic to gsr swap please help!

hey im in the process of converting my 2000 si to the b18c gsr..... ive did a little searching but could not find exactly what i was looking for. if anyone has any links, info, or whatever, please let me know and post them up. thanks in advance

what the hell is your question? If your looking for just general info about the swap, then you didnt search hard enough. Check the FAQs at top.

You just need to wire up the IAB if you use the Si harness. Then you need a P72.

yeah i understand about searching but everything i can find is for a cx or d series or somethin. i just need to know what wires i need to run for butterflies etc. to run the gsr motor and ecu. im not lazy im actually searhcin right now jus not findin anything for the si

you ever seen a stock b16 civic lined up against a b18 civic....it's a lot more then 10 hp canuck boy.

yeah well b16 was basically just shot. anyway i called the company i ordered the motor from and for future reference in a si with obd2b..all that needs to be done is use the crank angle sensor from b16 and bypass vacuum line to butterfly valves straight to the intake and that is all you have to do! so i guess i answered my own question thanks for the replies

I've had both motors. You defiantly want the 1.8 over the 1.6.

yeah well im actually plannin here in a few months when i get some money saved up to use my b16 head and do the poor mans type r...... any suggestions or comments to this?
