pilot bearing question

Default pilot bearing question

just got a new clutch&flywheel..came with pilot bearing replacement...it doesnt exactly fit into the flywheel. should I hammer it in there?..any tips would be great.

Compare it to the old one. Don't force it in.

I dont have a old one to compare it with. I've read around that some guys had hammered theres in...but im not too sure about this...haha

I just lightly tapped it in/out with a socket.

The one that came with my ACT had to be forced in. Try to lube the outside of the bearing and with a socket slowly hammer it in

you need to hammer it in because it must be tight on the flywheel. Use a socket and dont hit the black plastic bb retainer, hit the outside ridge
