i am looking to get some 13"x7.5" lenzo's with slicks, but am unsure of whether to get 22" or 23" slicks. also, what width slick should i get? this will be going on my del sol with a d15b vtec, 57 trim turbo at 9psi. car's best run was 9.04 and traps 84mph(1/8th mile) on the del sol si tranny. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

22-23's should do you fine. 24.5's are too much for your power level. 1/8th mile only? shorties wont hurt there.

but yeah, pm SlicksMH and ask john. he will ask you for wheel horse power. he needs to know that to select the correct size.

 

the eighth is what is local for me, but there are a few quarter mile tracks a few hours away that i will probably go to. i am trapping 84mph in the eighth in my del sol s, so i was thinking i'm about 220-230whp but i'm not sure.

 

i'd go with a 22" slick with your setup. Anything bigger is overkill and will hurt the performance.

 

^^^^^ agreed 22x8x13 start off at approx 8.5psi and work your way down

 

thanks guys, i just looked at a calculator for my tranny and 22" slick and it will do me better as far as being in the top of third at the end of the eighth.
