what size slicks should i buy to put on my del sol, i run nitrous and cant get traction when i spray in first, so i want to put some cheap slicks on, what size should i buy and what brand should i get. i race once a week at the track and dont need a real good brand. so what should i get?

 

I recommend the M&H race slicks, size 22x8x13 for your application. the cheapest setup will be mounted on 13x7.5 Lensos if you are on a budget.

I really don't think you need that much slick... Those slicks work fine but I with a mild nitrous setup on a single cam I would still go with a slick that isn't quite as tall... You'll spin MT 20x6x14's off the line but once they grip you'll be fine... I personally don't like running 22 inch tall slicks unless you have a lot of midrange torque where your power can overcome the additional height... Tho the MT 20x8's have been discontinued you can still find them sometimes... I would still take those over the Racemaster... The 22x8.5-9.5x13 M&H Racemaster would be better suited on a built nitrous motor or B/H series motors... Just my $0.02... Latez
