99 Accord alarm issues
My dad has had this ongoing alarm issue with his car. I searched and found this thread...

The car one night had the alarm going off non stop till where we decided to disconnect the battery and check it out in the morning. We checked fuses and all and everything seemed fine. Now when he uses the remote to open or lock the car and activate the alarm, the doors lock but the alarm does not activate. I look near the drivers lock stub where it says security and it does no flash. The honk no longer beeps when you hit the button twice. Could the issue be from the remote? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Check your door switches, hood pin, and the trunk latch to make sure that all the alarm inputs (switches) are working. Sounds like one of them is not working and the alarm thinks that a door/hood/trunk is still open and won't arm.
Thanks for the advice. I am going to try it out right now. I am guessing that they should just move freely. I hope the wires inside the switches are good and not corroded off. I am starting to think this issue may have been caused from a heavy rainfall where water leaked into the car somehow (all windows/doors were fully shut) and soaked the drivers side of the carpet, front and rear.
