lets start off by saying i don't know jack about my alarm that i have on my car. It's an old *** alarm system that came / the car. Ok here is what has got me confused. The car has an alarm, but the only thing that works is the keyless entry. The other day i disconnected my battery, when i reconnected it the notificaton ( 2 beeps) started to work. obvioussly me being a kid and being overwhelmed over the fact that my car makes a beeping noise, i statred to Unlock/Lock about 6 times until it stopped working again.

now my question is how can i make the alarm work entirely? or atleast how can i make it beep when i Unlock/Lock my doors?

what type of alarm? You might have put it into valet mode if it's a DEI alarm, which is done by having a door open (or if your door trigger doesn't work anymore) and pushing button 1, button 2, button 1, within like 2 or so seconds of each other. It switchs the alarm from alarm mode to keyless mode. To reset it, you just repeat the same steps.
