well i have a 94 hatch with a gsr... when i had my y8 in it the heat worked great now with the swap i found out that the heater core is just dangling so does that get hooked up to the firewall?? also the climate control cable is just sticking out of the firewall, it looks like it was cut. where does the cable hook up to? please help its getting colddd out!

You mean where does it get hooked up to in the engine bay? of under the dash? If its under the dash its to the back of the climate controle...i may be misreading your words though

 

its hooked up to the climate control but the cable that runs out of the engine bay is not hooked up. does that cable go to the little switch on the heater core? because i messed with the switch and the heat still isnt working

 

Hmm not sure about that, seems like it though. I have only messed with it under the dash, Sorry i couldnt help. Some one help this guy out!

 

the cable that goes from inside the car to the engine bay connects to the water valve that hangs off the inlet side of the heater core tubes. it allows the coolant to enter the heater core if it is cut your going to needs to replace it.
