Finished painting my Prelude Base Rims
I couldnt find my other thread so started a new one with all the pics from beginning to end.. I looked through so many threads and posts on how to paint Rims and just went with it. This is the first time I did it.

Krylon Primer (2)
Duplicolor Metallic Paint (2)
Krylon ClearCoat (2)
Sandpaper
Heater
Index cards
Tape
Started off like this :

Sanded Down:

First Coats of Primer:

Now I left the Primered for about a week before I painted to see how it held up. I used 1 1/2 cans of the primer on all 4 rims. I spray heavy and often to make sure it would stick
Result:

Now I started to lay down the Paint:

Now I used the Metallic Paint and it came out veryy shiny but It was ok... I layed the rims down and set the heater to high in the garage and left them for about an hour. I layed down the clearcoat heavy like 3 times in 15 mins. It became very thick and wasnt drying, so i just decided to lay down one more coat of paint them clear.. that got it a lil darker and hardned quicker.
Final Result:

I think they came out pretty good concerning I only spent about 40$ in materials. Winter Rims so I dun care too much. Maybe I'll add a harder clear later on.
