Default Installing JDM front conversion

i know i have to cut the radiator support and point weld it on but honestly is it something that i need to take to a shop to do? or is it easy to be done like it seems?

Can you weld? If not, take it to someone that can.

My friend tried to weld it on himself and welded it on backwards.

yeah if you're not an experienced welder then at least get someone to do that for you. everything else can be installed pretty easily.

i've seen it done before, you cut the top half of the us radiator support and throw it away and cut the top half of the JDM radiator support and tack weld it on the us one, than its all bolt on after that... pertty simple. I would do it but im to cheap to get a JDM front end lol.

yea just do it yourself, if you can even somewhat weld you can do it. but dont cut the rad support drill out the welds.

There is no cutting involved. Possibly some chiseling but absolutely no cutting. Spot welds are the little round indentions.
