Default h22 head on f22 dohc engine

I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what I need to have, and what I need to do to put an h22 head on an dohc engine.. I'm kinda new to imports so if there's anything else I'll need I'd appreciate any info I can get. Also I was wondering if the header will the h22 head. Also any tips on where I can get the head and parts would be greatly appreciated.

Also I was wondering the difference between the h22 head and the h23 head. I was told that there virtually the same but the h23 weighs 30lbs less.. Sorry for the newbie questions but any info would be wonderful.

well the f22 is a SOHC engine in the accord in america, so you would be making it DOHC by putting a h22 or h23 head on it. Do some research lol

Ahh, I figured TX + f22 you were referring to the b1 or b2. I would (100% assumption here) guess that your f22 block would be very similar to the f22b2/b1 block in which case it would be a swap just like it would be onto a b1 or b2 sohc block.

You may want to try searching and going through the FAQ in the Prelude forum as well as the Accord forum.

The H22 and H23 heads are different. To be exact I'm not really sure but... I think the exhaust and intake port spacing or location is different between them but I'm not 100% sure on that. Also, the main difference being one is VTEC and one is not but I assume you already knew that.
