Default EG B Series A/C installation process (Questions)

Whats up guys, I wanted to get some confirming information, before I do my pictorial review and tech article write (with pics) on tranferring A/C over from your Single Cam to a B-Series.

So far the info I have is.

1.) Use the Del Sol Vtec A/C bracket (Part#38930-P54-000)

2.) All Civic A/C lines and compressor should work.

Im woondering if a 99 Civic SI (B series) A/C compressor will work? While using my stock lines.

Cause, the current compressor in the Project Civic (1994 DX) is not blowing so cold, but has good freon in it? So Im guessing the compressor is bad?

Thanks for ANY help or info you can provide. You will definately be given recognition on my full write up

92-95 are the same compressor, but 96-00 use a different hard line. And if your running the P54 i believe it doesnt line up with B series compressors. You run the P54 to run your stock Civic one. If you want to run a B series im 99% sure you need to use the Integra AC bracket. Integra compressors use the same hard line as 92-95.

92-93 civic compressors are R-12. 94 and up is R-134

Another thing Im knoticing is, that my A?C takes a while for it to get cold. Sometime just barely a bit colder then outside.

I check the Freon and its at where it suppost to be PSI wise.

Bad Compressor?

So its 92-93 then 94-00 that its like that. But everything else was correct about the brackets, if he wants to use a B series compressor he needs an integra bracket, and for a D series compressor he needs P54 or P7F (i think thats the right code).

Try draining your freon and refilling it.

expansion valve is probably clogged, thats why it won't get too cold.

You drier could be filled as well. You can put this on vacuum for a couple hours and it will clear out.

Expansion valve is like $30 bucks, and its behind your glove compartment, sorta.

Hmm, that makes me wonder. Cause when I run the A/C, and when I turn the car off..a noise come from the glove box area..

Could that be it?
