Default people with gutted 92-95 Si's, i have a question

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that this is my ABS module. i just took out my inner quarter panel plastics yesterday. i noticed this on the pass side right behind the pass. front seat. should i leave this where it is or should i relocate it someplace, maybe just on the other side of the metal its bolted to. what have you guys done to yours?

pics of yours, if moved, would be appreciated, thanks!

yes that should deff. be abs. i would leave it or you could move where you said. or you could make some sort of cover. if the harness can be manipulated to reach under the pass. seat you could put it there.

Or just remove ABS altogether. I have never been a big fan of ABS.

Otherwise it looks like you could unplug and follow your wires to pull out some slack from original routing and tuck under your seat.

If that's abs I wouldn't move it... some of them have sensors in them that must be mounted in a certain direction...

If you lie that thing flat it COULD think that the car has rolled over... I don't know specifically about this one but there are ABS sensors that can NOT be re-located.

Nope. That box inside the car is part of it.

Just because something in a car says ABS on it doens't mean it is for brakes. On nearly any plastic part used in any application the acronym for the type of plastic is on the part. So in many cases if you see <ABS> on a part it is refering to Acrylonitrile-Butadine-Styrene...not Anti-lock Braking System
