Default breaking pressure plates, need help!!

Hi, I have a b18c5 in my 94 civic hatchback. I'm using a act heavy duty pressure plate(also used exxtreme) and clutch, but It's the fourth pressure plate that breaks. It's not only me, I have several friends with b-series that also breaks them the same way. Behing the pressure plate you can find the 3 very fine layers of steel that hold the disk of the pressure plate together and it also flex's. the 3 layers of steel breaks in two and the pressure plate doesn't release the clutch completely from the flywheel. The car runs good, but it's very difficult to shift. In high rpm it almost doen't shift. I don't know if somebody out there also got the same problem. Maybe it's act that makes shitty product. What should I do?? Buy maybe another brand?? What is the best brand out there?? Thanks for the help!!

This is the first time I've heard of ACT plates breaking. I use the Xtreme with no problems.
