seal on hardline question i need answered quick

Default seal on hardline question i need answered quick

can i use hondabond to seal the hardline going into the slave cylinder? What else can i use it is leaking. Thanks

It wouldn't realy work to well because of the fact that the part moves in and out. Your best bet is to just go and buy a new one... Their not that expensive.

You could try teflon, but it should make its own seal, could it be stripped threads or maybe you havent put the hardline down enough?

no no its just the hardline that goes into the slave, not the actual piston that moves in and out. I got a new one and its leaking, thats why im asking.

Take the line off, and look at both ends carefully. make sure they are round and have no nicks or scratches on them. If they are good, then puy them together and make sure they meet up straight and that you tighten it down well enough. be careful though, they strip easily.
