Default quick question... ordering the b16 swap next wednesday...

Just trying to mkae sure I've got all my bases covered.

Im grabbing the b16 complete swap from hmotors including the needed mounts

also picking up a new water pump and timing belt along with fluids. Anything else I should grab? Do you know if they ship the tranny with the stock shifter? If so, hows the feel of it? Is it worth getting a STS?

and I know I need a different bracket to hook up my AC, what bracket was it?

P.S. - Im also getting an ACT clutch and flywheel combo and the evo2 exhaust

thanks for the input. Also, am I going to run into any problems using my original gauge cluster with the b16 ECU?

You gauge cluster will work fine. It just depends on if you have a vtec harness or not you may have to run those wires to the ecu

thanx for the input.

Im getting a little confused on all the ECU stuff. Searching and reading a **** load of threads. hmotors said they will supply me the necessary mounts and ECU conversion harness. The guy sounded rather pressed for time when I talked to him so I figured here would be a bit easier to ask. If they are supplying me with the conversion harness what all is needed to be done?

If no one feels like explaining whats needed to get the P30 ECU thats being shipped with the motor into my OBDII car, could someone point me to a thread? I've read in a few posts that theres a "How-to" when doing a b16 EK swap in my model year, but for some reason I cant find it in regards to the conversion harness they are supplying me.
