Got my hands on a 89 CRX Shell with a blown engine for 600 bucks. Body is fine.

Here is what im looking at for the build so far.

H23 Block:
Darton Sleeves
JE 87.5mm 9.0:1 Pistons
Crower Rods
OEM Lighten Crank

H23 Head:
KMS Springs
KMS TI Retainers
KMS Valve Guids and Seals
Crower Turbo Cams
P&P Head On Exhause and Intake Side
Black Trax IM

Turbo:
Turbonetics T3/T4 Turbo
Cust Manifold
Cust Downpipe

Electronics and Misc:
Greddy Emanagment or AEM EMS (i can get my hands on either for cheap)
Injectors (still researching)
All the other normal mods.....

Input... i put this list together in about 2 hrs with minimal research and mainly just my exp with these parts in the past.....

Im hoping for this thing to fly..... im gutting it as we speak.... pics up soon.....
may put in a cage..... not sure what to do for sus parts......

 

Why not turbo a K-series? If you are going to drop that kind of money I would do a K over an H. And you will get an additional gear. Hope the project turns out well.

 

im a prelude guy... i know the H's and can do much of the work myself..... the K's and B's scare me......

 

screw the extra gear slows u down when u are racing
