how it going guys i just got an eg and my hood latch is fuking jamed i have to ****** take pilers and force it shut cuz it wount close when i slam the hood how do i replace it with out taking allot of crap off??

 

first try cleaning and relubeing it. It is very common for the lube to dry out and gum up the works. use a good degreaser spray down the entire latch let it dry then relube. Have someone work the hood release a few times and lube the end of the cable were it goes into the jacketing. If the cable isn't lubed here it can hang up and cause the latch to stick
