Is there anywhere that i can get a vtec solinoid for a D16Z6 engine. I DO NOT WANT TO GO TO THE F%^#*&^ HONDA DEALERSHIP. I just got finished putting up with the stupid people at honda and they don't know $h!*.

So could someone please tell me if there is anywhere else i can go to get this vtec solinoid.

thanx guys so much. anything is better than honda stealership.

check this: yesterday i went in to the parts store (at honda dealership) and the guy told me the part would be $129. I said ok and i would be back to pick it up today.

I get there this morning and some other guy tells me the part would be $200 and it won't be in for a week. Then the guy has a conversation with his girlfriend on his cell phone while im waiting on his DA to figure **** out.

Finally he concludes that my engine does not even have vtec and therefore doesn't need the solinoid.

I find this outrageous since it is a D16Z6 motor, it clearly has VTEC ON THE VALVE COVER, I just took of the solinoid last night b/c it was leaking and cracked, and you can feel vtec kick in in the upper rpms.

I was so PISSED that i just walked out before i did somethin i would regret
