Default Gsr girdle in Ls Vtec

would a gsr main cap girdle benifit my ls vtec? i spun a bearing in my gsr and im getting ready to drop in a built ls bottom end with my gsr head, i plan on revving it high, would it be worth the effort?

the purpose of a girdle is to prevent crank movement at high rpm's so if that's what you plan on doing then yes it would probably be good insurance for you. you'll need some machine work done to the block parts though before it will fit right. here's another thread that might help: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1338443

eh nevermind then, i dont want to have to get anything machined because its going to be going back in the gsr
