Default Want a twin turbo set-up anybody done it.

I have a Del Sol with a B20 Vtec with all the goodies. Just running a drag gen kit though with 11 psi of boost. Want something better though. I dont know if I want huge turbo set-up or try to go with a twin turbo set-up. If any body has done twin here, I want to see their set-ups.

Space will be a major issue since there will be two DP's that will need to be merged, two outlet pipes from the turbos that will need to be routed to the IC (merged or unmerged) and actual space to mount two turbos on a manifold. It can be done but your engine bay will probably look like a crowded bag of doo doo!

I had a guy once tell me that a 650whp civic was twin turboed because it had dual wastegates..BAHH

Anyway, yeah bad Idea, build the damn motor make 400whp and be done with it. no need for another snail in there, ****** pointless.

good luck.

Check out the twin turbo LS VTEC that Jeff from HMT built.

There's really no reason to do a twin unless you just love fabrication and want to do something different. If you are looking for more power there are many many better single turbo options out there.

Pointless thread, use the search button, lots of info, including pics and reviews of twin setups. If you're not sharp enough to use the search button, then I'd advise against trying to do a twin setup.

Oh how that rule applies to so many more threads than just this one

****, thats like the catch-all statement that should pop up on every trial user's PC when they post something, "If you're not sharp enough to search for 'will this jdm gas cap fit', then I'd advise against posting".

As for the title, I believe its suposed to be "anybody", not "and body". Two errors in one shot ...and then its made into a statement.

The only time you want to do a twin setup is if you already have 2 identical turbos, have 2 cylinder banks (h-opposed 4/6, v6/8, etc), and have 2 smaller pockets of space rather than one big open spot. Or for show

The closest you'll want to get to with a honda is rcmcdaniels twin-charger setup, supercharger with turbo. I'd also suggest building the motor (if not already) and being careful after you upgrade to more power, as b20 monosleeves aren't the best thing in the world for making safe power.
