Well ive had my 91 honda for about 4 years.. bought it for 300 dollars.. lol so i got my moneys worth.. ive fixed it well since ive had it.. put everything on it you can think of.. but for the last four months its been giving me nothing but problems well... if i have under have a tank of gas when i brake it dies and i have to re-crank it. and in the mornings it drives fine until you go over mayb 15 miles then it wants to like Jump... like its not gettin gas right only way you can semi stop it is barely press the gas and then it still does it... if u let it rest 30 minutes its fine for another five minutes then it does it again... im thinking the net on the fuel pump is messed up and i think its the fuel pump itself which is causeing this... but i wanted to ask someone that might know what is causeing this stead of spending 150+ dollars to buy a fuel pump and the trouble of droppin the tank and putting it on. but i cant explain the jumping of it... its horriable almost not even driveable.. ive been stuck in the middle of traffic because of it... im gonna get killed in this car if i don't do something. and also the idle is at 2,000 RPMS! its not suppose to be past 1,000 RPMs how can i adjust this? if any help i would love it thank you in advance.

 

do you have any cels? any preventive maintance? have the ignition coil checked and you lower the idle at a lil screw on the upper part of the throttle body on opposite side of the map sensor vacume hose

 

What are cels? and dont think its the iginiton Coil cause it cranks fine.. it just goes dead at certain places when i stop like its not gettin gas when i stop quick or something like a fuel pump not catching dunno.

 

if the engine stumble happens from stepping on the brake there is a vacum leak somewhere or too much air into the intake.
Try unplugging the IAC to see if the RPM drops a couple hundred, it might be stuck open or something.
You might also check the fast idle valve to be sure there is no air bypassing when the engine is warm
