Excesive backfire thorugh wastegate under boost
Hey i recently got my car running with uberdata. i pretty much made my own base map off a base h22 map. retard timing .9/lbs, 120% fuel effic. and just some minor fuel cuts.
Setup:
JDM h22
Revhard cast mani
t3/t4 .60 .63 57 trim
DSM450
walbro 255
knock off tial wastegate holds pressure very well
6lbs
As well i am still on stock plugs if that matters?
When i ran my LC-1 to it my a/f were looking around 14.5-15 in non boost portion.
In boost they were near 11.1-12 then went off to 10ish. around 6lbs and at higher rpms
i couldnt get my datalogging to work, tryed almost every thing and cant seem to figure it out!
now the problem is that when i get into higher rpms (6000-7400) my car starts to backfire (loud excesive poping sounds from my wastegate) and i produce no power what so ever. I'm wondering if anyone knows what is the cause of this backfire which does not allow me to produce any power.
I know i should really get tuned by a pro but i would really like to tune it myself considering i dumped all this $ into a wide band and what not.
heres where my bin can be found

Assuming stock plugs and stock gap, whats probably happening is a cylinder is misfiring. That unburnt mixure (which also happens to be very rich) is entering the exhaust manifold, and then being ignited by heat/flames/etc.
I'd also say its a bad mixture of many issues. When it misfires while tuning (constantly), the o2 sensor thinks the mixture is WAY lean (it senses unused oxygen, not unburnt fuel), so you are probably compensating by making it too rich. That then makes it even harder for the plugs to fire, as a very rich mixture is much harder to pass a spark through. You probably are getting excessive pops from the dumptube from the basemaps extra-conservative timing.
Unfortunately I know very little about h-series timing maps, so I can't be much help correcting the map, outside of you coming to Waukesha and letting me try with cromepro (just notices you live in WI).

that would be cool if you could take a look with cromepro, i cant seem to get my damn uberdata or any other sort of datalogging to work. I dont know when i'll be back home because of the major event comin up in madison but i will definitly give u a pm and maybe we could meet up possibly
