Seriously, it seems like a few times a week I have nightmares about getting my R stolen... This is strange, because I hardly ever think about it while I'm awake... I guess while I'm sleeping is a different story.

Two nights ago, I dreamt that I got in my R to drive up to see my brother at college (He lives about 3.5 hours away in between here and Charlotte), and on the way I see a grocery store parking lot FILLED with nice Hondas, so I pull over and go hang out for a bit. Everyone was cool, but then all of the sudden I get a feeling like I need to go check on my car. I start to sprint back to my car, and find 3 guys rumaging through it, pulling **** out. So I put my key in between my ring finger, and my middle finger, get a running start and jab each one of them in the temples. They're out, I start putting my stuff back in my car, when I turn around and see the entire parking lot charging me. The group of about 30 guys beat the **** out of me, and take my car, and drive off. Before they do, one of them steps on my head and says to me "Don't F*ck with the Queen City Crew, BITCH". And the rest of the dream is me trying to find my brother's house with nothing but the clothes on my back, and my skateboard... Weird.

Just now I woke up from a nap, had another weird dream... A REALLY weird dream. The last one was plausible, it really could happen. This one was just plain strange.

For some reason, I decided to drive to Sea World with a caravan of other friends... Hahaha... We all go off and do the Sea World tourist thing, and about half way into the dream, a man comes on the announcing loud speaker and says "Owner of the Yellow Acura Integra, your car is being stolen... Owner of the Yellow Acura Integra, your car is being stolen. Thank you." So I flip out and sprint back to my car, to find it gone.

I talk with the police for a bit, I Bitched out the police cheif saying that I want someone on this RIGHT NOW, not tomorrow, NOW. If they don't figure it out now, by tomorrow my car will be parted out, and they'll never find anything but a shell. Then the police cheif kind of laughs, and says "Yeah, we'll get someone on this..." Then most of the dream I'm trying to figure it out myself, and by the end, I find the bare shell in the woods. I look inside and see they took EVERYTHING, except the armrest with my baby's number on it. I woke up almost about to cry.

I just went in the garage and stared at my R for about 10 minutes.

... Sooooo... Anyone else have these horrible nightmares? Like I said, this is very weird, because I hardly ever think about it. My car's always very safe, locked up, and sleeping in the garage... I can't figure out why my mind still dreams about it.

Am I insane? Haha.

 

Huh, since I sold my r everything is boring. Even sleep.

 

I dreamed about my GS-R being stolen by a bunch of ghostly pre-school kids with clubs. My 2-way just ringed, i rushed out of the door, saw the bunch of ghostly kids ( 6 of them) just laughed at me and i can hear the vtec going farther and father. wtf.

 

Nope.

i think i had one dream before. were it almost got stolen but i can never remember my dreams, and recently i was sleeping and i was sleep talking and my girl said that i said "f*ck this im getting rid of the type R" and i grabbed my cell phone, but i dont remember none of that. and another thing if im sleeping at anybodys elses house with my car i wake up like every hour or two and go check up on the car for some reason. if the cars not there and i leave it home i can sleep the whole night, but at my house ill sleep like a rock cause the cars in the garage safe and my room is right on top of where my car sleeps so ill hear both alarms if anything house and car.

 

I use to have dreams about my GSR getting stolen or broken into alot, when I lived in shitty neighborhoods.
When I had only a few mods, and a phat stereo setup, I dreampt more about it getting broken into.
Now that I've dumped alot of money into mods, I dream more about it getting outright stolen.

I've had so many different dreams about my car disappearing, I dream semi-lucidly during those dreams now, and I always expect it to return, I just never know when or what condition it'll be in. And it doesn't **** me off any less just cuz I know it's eventually coming back, lol.
I never get beat up for my car in my dreams, maybe cuz I've never been beat up in real life for any reason. I always do the beating up in my dreams, but sometimes the other dude doesn't even get hurt, and sometimes I kill them.

But now that I live in the country, bad dreams about the car are rare. I don't even arm my alarm at home anymore.

 

You're not alone... I have had a few dreams about the car being stolen...Usually I just wake up and look outside and the car is GONE... I go into a panic and such Yada yada yoda...

I even had a dream like that and my car is garaged... I think Owning a R kinda makes you paranoid.

Once I stayed over My sister's place and she lives in a condo APT STYLE. So I kept looking outside like every 30-45 min and the last time I go and get my keys to get ready to leave and I walk out side and the CAR IS GONE!!!!

I just saw it out there not 30min Before... All I saw was the empty Space it was raining out and the space was still dry so I know that it was taken Just before I got out there.
Make a long story short After calling the Police and Insurance Co Found out that a shady Towing co took the car... A neighbor said a Black UNMARKED towtruck took my car.
I was PISSED I saw the tow truck picking up another car and I chased it down. The driver said he would give me back my car for 200 bux CASH.

 

i used to have those kind of dreams when i had my gsr. My gsr eventually did get stolen and the dream came true.

2 days ago I had a dream that someone broke into my garage and stole my R. It wasnt a pleasant dream. The dream felt so real that it woke me right up and I went to check the garage.

I've never been beaten up either... But I guess there's not much you can do against 30 guys, rather than just start kicking and hope to hit some cajones, haha. Hopefully that'll never REALLY happen.

It's crazy some of the **** you guys have been through... Some unmarked tow truck towed your car, and said you could have it back for $200? Jeus, I'd pay the guy, then break his legs and set his tow truck on fire... Then of course, get my $200 back.

I dream that maybe 2 or 3 times a month, and its always the same scenario, i park somewhere, arrive back to where i parked to see someone driving off in it and hitting other cars and walls etc and i always get it back, with wheels, exhaust, seats etc etc missing. Its such a freekin relief to wake up from one of those dreams. I think i even had a dream once where it was stolen and i knew i was sleeping and was only dreaming but couldnt wake up to prove to myself it was only a dream...******* nitemare that was!!!!!!!!

My nightmare came true 4 1/2 years ago.

 

After reading all the posts of ITRs getting stolen on here, who wouldn't have bad dreams. I have bad dreams every once in a while...

 

Yes I did Pay the 200 Bux and I did get my car back... He said he was legit (YAH RIGHT) that he tows cars for the Condo Complex. But what LEGIT towing co has NO address, NO Phone Number other than a NEXTEL CELL, CASH ONLY, and is willing to meet you at an undisclosed location at 3 in the morning...

Glad it worked out... But there was no way to retaliate once I got my car back. thing that sucked really bad is that I called the Police and they were the ones that told me to pay and get my car back...even after I detailed the situation... The Operator did stay on the phone with me JUST incase I got JUMPED (not sure what she could have done )

Another reason I NEVER park my ITR anywhere but the garage... These cars would be so much more enjoyable if we didn't have to worry about this ****.

 

sometimes it happens; i awake in a cold sweat, heart racing, bleary eyed, frantic at the sight of taillights fading in the distance as i hear the sweet vtec screaming away...

...and then i remember that i never had an R, so i go back to sleep.

I don't think I could ever listen to anyone killing it in my car but me... Especially knowing I'd never be able to again. The way you described it, just made me depressed.

 

ot, have any of you ever considered lojack or similar service (if you live in a decent size metrop area)? It seems like a viable way of getting the cops to your car before major stripping could get underway.
