Campulley Adjustment
Hi Folks
I am from Switzerland, and I hope somebody can give infos, because I think you could have some more experience with this. The problem is as mentioned the adjusment of the campulleys.
First, Iīm sorry for my english, I hope you understand what I mean, Iīll do my best...
Not a long time ago I swapped the engine of my CRX VTEC.
Now I have a new (zero miles) stock B18C6 short block in combination with a almost stock B16A1 head.
Also I have Skunk2 Stage2 camshafts (not ProSeries, the older ones) with Skunk2 adjustable campulleys, OmniPower Retainers and Valve Springs.
Then there is a TypeOne-Header and the complete exhaust-system 2.5inch. Intake-Manifold from the DC2, also a bored throttlebody and the DC2-Airbox and RC 280cc injectors.
I think it would work better, if I would know, how I should set the campulley-adjustment, I donīt have any idea how to set.
What is very important to me, I donīt want to get a blown engine causing of this adjustment, so it shoulnīt be too extreme, I want really to be sure...
Thanx

Thatīs true, a dyno is really necessary and will be done. But it would help if I had a "standard" adjustment, or a max. limit, that I certainly do not kill my engine. A whole day on the dyno is a little bit expensive...
