whats the max the b16a2 and stroke and piston bore? also i forgot to add in whats the best compression to get up to the 400-500whp?

 

Don't worry about boring or stroking a stock sleeved B16. It's just not worth it as the power gains can be seen by adding just 1-2 lbs. If you are sleeving then I think 87mm (or more I'm not sure) is possible and with a stroker kit you can probably get into the 2.4L region.

On stock sleeves though I wouldn't go past 81.5mm (.5 overbore) and the max IS 82mm.

Compression....well that's up to you. Most like to stay on the med-low side with 9.0 and some like the off boost response of the 10.0:1 and up.

 

so i guess..it wouldn't matter much. if i were to use the eagle crank stroke 3.433" for the b18c1-c5 would the b16a2 block have to be special fitted in or will it be a just dropp in crank? thanks
