does anyone use nitrous?
do u guys know what kinds of car could use nitrous. only turbocharged? or also can be used in normal stock car? is it bad for engine?.......................
well just about any motor could use nitrous at diffrent levels.
You need to go to google and do some more research before buying anything. Also this really doesn't belong here.
But I won't report it because nothing will happen...

You can run nitrous on any car, Just depends on how much you use
You can run a 25 shot of nitrous on a stock motor and it should be fine
But if you have a midifed motor, thats able to handle more nitrous than you can run a higher shot

or any internal combustion motor, um...lawn mower
do alot more research before blewing your motor up, it's a cheap way to gain some power, but at the same time, a fast way to have a bunch of broken parts if you don't know what you are doing

there is a tuner shop here in modesto who experimented with nos in a single motor he started off at a 25 shot and worked his way up to 300 shot to see how much juice it can handle and the motor still didnt blow just goes to show if you do a proper setup your motor can hang
ps not saying to do it just saying a stock motor can take a lil nos

dont you have to run colder plugs also?
dont you have to run colder plugs also?
ahh yes forgot about that one. yeah you have to run colder spark plugs too. im running ngk 2 steps colder plugs. cost me $10 at o'reilleys or however you spell it for all 4.
-use 2 step colder plugs (Zex makes some or NGK bkr7e)
-always use premium fuel (91+) to avoid detonation
-generally a 75 shot will be fine on a stock motor if everything is set up properly
Read up on things like rpm-activated window switches and bottle heaters. Also check out manufacturers websites (Zex's site goes over the basics).
PS- Accords love nitrous

Forgot to add that. Zex reommends pulling no timing for a 55 shot, 2 degrees for a 65 shot, and 4 degrees for a 75.

Here are my times with and without nitrous with the stock tranny and after the tranny swap...
AUTO
no nitrous: 17.2
with 75 shot: 15.3
5-SPEED
no nitrous: 16.3
with 75 shot: 14.9
