im kinna new to this area and havent met too many ppl...
i ASSUME i have a burnt fuel pump... im not a uber wiz in this kinna wire voltage check stuff and dont want to go and replace the fuel pump unless i know for sure that is the issue (even though it needs to be done anyway ) is anyone in the surrounding area that might be able to stop by the house and run a quick check... i DO NOT have my own volt meter... appreciate it

ouch u ordered from toysport? who did you talk to???
i would have checked the relapy first or jumped it.... and at no time did the fuel pump prime?
what car is this BTW?
check your engine bay fuse box and check

 

i havent payed for the fuel pump yet, i was going to leave now and pay today to get it friday... i will go check the fuse box now... car is 95 civic coup.... motor is GSR/B20 T3/T4... is Toysport a bad idea... he quoted me $100 for a walbro 255... can you give me a better shop in the area...thx much! (dont remember who i talked to @ Toy)

 

fuse box under hood checked out A-OK.... no blown fuses... why is Toysport a bad idea to order from, if i may... once again... new to area... dont know about good local shops.

any other ideas for the fuel pump issue?
dont know if it would be there... but i am going to check the fuse box under dash now...

 

the motor WILL turn over... and when i turn the key i can hear is the clicking under the dash on the left hand side... BUT the Injectors wont spray... i checked the resistor box... all wires are connected... box is grounded correctly... the car just sounds like a car trying to start with NO GAS (450 cc injectors DSM Blue tops)

the day the issue started the car was driving and seemed to progressively start dieing... till it got weaker and weaker and just shut off on the freeway... we tryed to jump the car, still, no luck.

i have not had a chance to change the fuel pump and i dyno'd the car on the stock fuel pump... 4 days later it dies... think i put too much of a load on the stock fuel pump? *(held max 200 whp) dyno stoped cause fuel pump could not keep up with demands...

 

nothing wrong with toysport i have known them for many many years....
just thought they would have bumped the $ up on the pump.. you can get those are about $80-90 if you shop around....

could be the starter relay or in fact teh pump.. it wont hurt to change out the pump tho....

 

what good shops are around the area?

was going to order the part but could not find the shop...lol

u could get a used pump to see if that fixes your problem from the junkyard or Milans in wilmington which is a honda only junkyard too... if it fixes it then go ahead and fork out the $ for a nice new one

since u hear it priming i say its your starter relay... try swaping it out or jumping it to bypass the relay then you will knwo for certain

 

where is the STARTER RELAY... starter relay and Main Relay are different correct? if the main relay was bad, the car wouldn't even prime....is that true? but IF the starter relay was bad... how would that stop the car while driving on the freeway and cause it to progressively get weaker and weaker till no fuel is flowing... the starter relay is ONLY for the START UP of the car *(correct?) and so is the Main Relay... meaning that.... something else killed the car WHILE it was MOVING and requiring fuel...

IF anyone lives in this area... i would gladly pay for your time or ie... a full gas tank to help solve this issue... LMK
I also have a lightend racing pully BRAND NEW i was going to install.... i can give that up as well...
please help.

ps.
its NOT the ecu....ecu is BRAND NEW + Hondata s300 and both check out fine as well as their fuses

here is the update...
the KEYWAY that holds the pully in place some how got torn up... the crankshaft is now trash and has to be replaced... the reason i wasnt getting any spark is because the cams / timing belt were not spinning... i will most likely need a valve job as well...

now im looking for another b20 bottom end over at Hmotorsonline to get swapped in asap... i will not be rebuilding this bottomend because i will be selling the car... so pretty much i will be putting a bone stock B20 and hooking up the t3/t4 turbo to it... no pistons...no rods... just a new head gasket and a block guard... i will be making a new thread to find out what this set up should be safe for boost wise...im tired of all these issues, i will be selling the car soon after... this is a horrible day and it seems like **** just keeps getting worse with this car...
