Default My car idling rough and Gauge cluster is not working

The car shakes and the check engine light is on but not blinking. The RPM part of the gauge clusters work but not MPH. The steering wheel feels a little harder to turn but not too hard.

sounds like it could be a number of things....

first off, is the car modified at all? if so, what mods have you done?

have you purchased fuel recently?

driven in a major rain storm?

how old is the car?

how many miles are on the odo?

etc,etc....

Rough idle + check engine light = missing cylinder (I'd take a look at cylinder #3). That's just a guess though.

As for your gauge cluster.....start checking fuses and your speed sensor.

I had my valves changed out and head gasket.

Could it be a head gasket?

Good oil levels

Speed sensor is most likely broken

But that wouldnt cause the horrible idle and shaking

maybe im missfiring or my head gasket is leaking im going to check it out tomorrow.

then when I have some money right now im going through hard times I'll get it fixed

Horrible shaking and idle could be caused by a cylinder not firing. Check your spark plugs and your coilpacks. I'd start with cylinder 3. Just check it and tell me that I'm wrong so that I stop repeating myself.
