Default 612 HP 457 TQ 2L b series hatch w/vids

This is Monkeyballs here on honda-tech. It is running 24 psi, low boost is at 14 psi and made about 450hp. It was tuned on crome. We will have it at MIR import vs. domestic so stop by and say hi if you are gonna be there. The dyno here at Dyno Inc. is a mustang dyno. We will be putting it on a dyno jet to compare. Before Imports vs. domestics we still have to put in the cage, new fuel system (to turn up the boost!!!), and some other things.

Some of the set-up:
Darton MID sleeves
Pauter Rods
CP Pistons
AEBS headstuds
ACL Race Bearings
REV Valvetrain
Stock gsr cams
Full 3 in. exhaust
sc61 turbo

Precision SC61 .63 A/R T3, I don't know if Dave has an SC6176 or the SC6152, I have to ask him or check out his turbo

Nice job, but those seem like HUGE numbers for that turbo only pumping 24lbs with a 3" exhaust.

i would love to only be running 24lbs at 600+hp.

post up your times and mph......

Nice setup. It does seem like alot of HP on just 24psi for a sc61. How many dyno pulls did it take?

it's a precision intercooler. The numbers were achieved after hours of dyno time. I can't remember how many runs, but it was basically a full day and then some of tuning.

I'm sure in total we have over 10 hrs in actual dyno time, but we had some problems with clutches and oil pumps, it made for a long day but it was fun!

I agree on the #s seem high BUT he is going to take it to a local dynojet this week to get some back to back #s. I was there for the low boost pulls and last I saw it made 405whp, it was strong, I am unsure if Dave has a SC6152 or SC6176. Of course I told him the proof will be in the MPH at the track

I thought so TOO, I even dynoed my car and it made 545whp 20psi on this same dyno, I went to a Dynojet and it made 538whp 20psi so it is not too far off at all. At 24psi my set up made 590whp GT4088R though A buddy on the Dynojet at least made 630whp and went 9.7@153mph in his CRX so the dynos are close

To add to this thread this car was ran this weekend, had issues from the machine shop overlooking a couple of things BUT he ran an 11.2@131mph, I do not think that was at 25psi , someone will chime in.

I ran a 10.62@140mph, 10.64@144mph and a 10.73@142mph so the dyno #s seem to be right with the mph

i trapped 139 in a full weight integra on 24 psi where I made 580 on a dyno jet...if he trapped 131 it sounds more like hes making low 500s
