There's not an exact step-by-step how-to that I'm aware of... but with all the info on hybrid engines in the Prelude FAQ, you should be able to extract all the info you need.

This particular hybrid will give you some gains, which will be especially noticeable while spraying. While off the bottle, it will feel a little more powerful, but I couldn't tell you just how much b/c I haven't ridden in a car with this setup yet.

Take your time and read up on all the hybrid threads from the Prelude FAQ. You'll probably need to take notes as you go to get all the info you need. Although tedious, I would go through each thread in its entirety, as some info will be posted much later in the thread.

Yah, The F22 Trans has longer gears, which means Slower Acceleration, but a higher top speed, the H22 Trans has shorter gears so a quicker acceleration but a slower top speed

A friend of mine wants an H23 Head on his F22A1, So if you get any information please let me know

ill also be looking so if i find anything out ill let you know

But so far i know you will need a H23 Head, Vtec Wiring harness, Vtec ECU

You realize that the USDM H23 is non-VTEC, right? The JDM H23 VTEC is rare as it is... I doubt anyone would cannibalize that engine to make a hybrid, especially considering that the head is really just an H22 head.

Punctuation, please?
It's true though, an H-series trans will make a world of difference when it comes to acceleration.

I was going to do the f22/h23 hybrid, but then decided to just buy a complete H23 (since I found the engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness for $350 picked up and couldnt pass that up). From what i've heard, it's not that hard to do the hybrid. I started to do it, but decided that I wanted a motor in my car NOW. If you're seriously interested, I might be selling alot of the parts to do the hybrid soon ...
