Just put on VAFC
raised the vtec point of my J3s to 6300 from 5400... must say the car really likes it. Picked up some major midrange, and vtec actually has some punch to it, I dont lose power. Leaned out the idle, car idles much better. Really like the unit. Install was easy, very easy to use, cool graph functions
i bet your actually losing from 5900-6200. I know I did, 5900 rpms takes care of that vtec dip and some fuel tuning. The primaries on JUN III dont make power past 5900 rpms, the primaries arent like Toda Bs or Cs. You feel that jolt because your power is going down past 5900 and when VTEC kicks in at 6300 the power is instantly realized.
I had torque dip, thats what i was referring to, not hp and even the hp gain was very minimal. Whos dyno was this, JUN III cams?

That was my fault, at first I thought it was torque line. Every engine is different, mine with high compression (12:1) and JUN III didnt like anything over 5900. I guarantee that with tuning that first dyno would look alot better. JUn III cams, as with any aftermarket cam are not drop in mods, as everyone knows.

This guy also has the torque charts as well. Just as I said before torque loss after 5900 rpms until 6700. Hp might not drop off, but torque definitly will.
