I keep having a problem with some of my gears like when I am racing I cant seem to always get it to the street like the trans is refusing the shifter ....

let me know what clutch ........

 

Thats a trans problem, not a clutch if its popping out of gear.

 

Sounds like you have been abusing your tranny on with some awesthome street racing and have messed it up. The clutch is the least of your worries.

 

check your transmission and motor mounts, if its moving during acceleration, or popping out, that could be it from hard acceleration or sudden deceleration., but yea its a tranny problem.

Cable trannys are cheap as hell, just grab a new one.

90 acura teg thats what I got for the clutch disc no sure what trans it has short gears... I think it is y1 or ys1 just non lsd

 

what kind of shift linkage?

 

you can try gm sychomesh dunno how its spelled but heard that is a real good treat ment for trannys. and for clutches i love daikin exedy

Is the tranny not going into gear or is the tranny grinding or slipping?

 

racing.....revv out to 8k shift from 2nd to 3rd and it will not go into gear, like when I rev out and shift you can hear the trans grinding and wont go in. I have to slow down and let it in if normal driving it does not do it.... it also does it when down shifting....?

can somehelp me with this cause I cant race unless I can get that straight...

 

It sounds like your syncros are bad. If that is the case you will have to rebuild it or get a new one. You might try the syncromesh everyone talks about and see if it helps.
