Youngest person here, who owns an R

Just curious who is the youngest person here who owns an R. Im 18 and am thinking about getting one (currently own an h22 prelude with lsd tranny) but might bump up to an R. And no my parents arent rich, so mommy and daddy wouldnt pay for it

I'm 19 and on my second R, first one (when i was 18 years old) i had was hit at 80km on the side by a five tonne truck. The R is one tough Car i can tell you that.

I know a guy who was 17 when his parents got him one, but Iv also seen online a guy who had a turbo py one who was trying to trade it and he was only 16

i know a few 17-18 year old itr owners....

but you guys make it seem like its some big deal.

look on any evo/sti/m3 forum and there's always 16-19 year old kids.

i was 18 when i bought my teg... put 13k down and financed the rest.. i was foolish at the time and should have invested in a house.. but im 27 now and dont regret it ... ever..

I think Yuri was 16 when he got his. If those of you don't remember he lives near Seattle and his was NBP with a JDM front...got stolen and all diced up.

You save up when you're young.. duh...
ITRs these days aren't as expensive as they are...

I know people who are 18-19 and own 30k cars and they did it all by themselves.
Insurance too!

Honestly, I feel bad for any 16 year old with an ITR. Highschool + immature kids + haters + messing up a nice caR while learning to drive. The perfect age to own an itr would be 18+. This way you have experience (from your old hatch

), and wont cause as much damage to the car learning how to drive it

18 here. agreed. i did not get a fast car till now because i knew i would tear it up being dumb or someone else would. i now have most of the itch to do stupid stuff out of me, i atleast takee it to the track!
