Default HIDs help - Connection bad?

I don't have pics so I'll try to be thorough as much as possible. If I posted in the wrong place,

I just got myself a HID kit (bulbs, ballast, ignitors) from another member.

My problem:

1) My passenger side is not working when everything is installed.

Q: Maybe the bulb is dead?
- Nope. Bulb is still good. Tested it on the other ballst/ignitor

Q: Maybe the ballast is dead?
- Nope. Also tested this through the driverside's ignitor/powersource and the bulb worked

Q: Maybe the OEM lowbeam light socket is melted?
- Indeed. So, I went and got generic replacments.

Q: Maybe the generic replacement is shitty?
- Not it. Driverside is also using the replacement and its working perfectly.

I've also tried using the normal bulbs and it was a no-go. Something's wrong here.

Wierd thing:
- It worked at first since I had my passengerside in first and tested it alone and it worked. Then, I plugged in my driverside (passengerside unplugged) and tested it and driverside worked. Then, tested both plugged in and only driverside was working.

Probably a fuse. It happened to my 99 GSR and we took the kit out only to be stumped. The girlfriend actually checked the fuse only to notice that it was in fact blown. HAHA

It's definitely a wiring problem somewhere since you said the regular halogen bulb didn't work, either. I concur on checking the fuse.

Did you replace the fuses w/ 20A ones? Or are you using a wiring harness with relays (better choice)?

I don't have a wiring harness yet. Anyone got a diagram or instructions on how to make one?

I'll check my fuse later on today and see if it's blown or not. It started raining yesterday so I couldn't check it out.
