i have a set of hid, im usin hella hid rite now 6000k
i had the same problem. but mine was connecting the plugs wrong.
but im guessin you double chekd it?

mayb the sent you two diff bulbs

do you mean the color in the light output? I'm thinking since you got a aftermarket kit, it just wasn't made exactly alike to ware evenly.

 

could be the hid is dying

 

How long have they been in your car and what kelvin (spelling?) are they supposed to be?

 

the older a bulb gets, the whiter it gets because they lower in Kelvin....so i'm assuming your bulb is dying..but all too quick. OEM philips bulbs slowly turn whiter over the span of a couple years. Call the manufacture to see if you can get something settled.
